In a moment I shall explain why I am sorry for confusing you!
But first, I’m bursting to tell you that I’ve just returned from the wonderful Osteopathy New Zealand Conference in Auckland which had an amazing line up of speakers, particularly specialising in understanding pain and it’s management.
Running simultaneously was the Osteopathic International Alliance meetings and their AGM. This is the organisation comprised of all the key Osteopathic organisations around the world and it is very much about the advancement of Osteopathy and the vital support and assistance to fledgling member countries. I already knew some of the key members but it was delightful to meet and make friends with others from countries such as Brazil and Japan too.
Having an exhibition stand there meant that I got chatting with the great and the good from around the Osteopathic globe! I spent the three days absorbing everything I could from the delegates and speakers who were there. I had smuggled in (past the sniffer dogs too!) 4 large tubs of Quality Street to tickle the taste buds of those present. That went down a storm! Victor the tactile skull travelled with me but unfortunately somehow got himself into bother and suffered a gun shot wound to the chin. If you’re coming along to the iO Convention in October, then you can see him for yourself!
So over the next few weeks, I’m going to share some of the stories and insights I discovered during my 8 days there. I’m currently writing a few blogs on the different aspects of the Conference and I hope you will enjoy them.
Back to the reason why I’m sorry for confusing you
So a few more Osteopaths from the Southern Hemisphere took up my offer to join me on my online courses, namely my entry level programme, Osteobiz Whiz and Osteobiz Blueprint, which is a more advanced course for longer term growth.
During one coffee break, a lovely British couple who have worked in Australia for many years, asked me about my private coaching. They were keenly aware that they had got behind the times. They knew that they needed to upgrade their strategies and their Practice in order to stay ahead and remain busy. They even agreed that it was probably time to invest in some software and a new website.
As I had three levels of coaching available, they began focusing on which one was best for them. They wanted to know about the differences between Bronze, Silver and Gold. They wanted to know about the different costs and what exactly was included in each one. So we discussed this for some time. But I could see that they were beginning to look confused.
Ultimately, the break was over and they had to dash off for the next lecture and said we’d speak later. Indeed we ended up on the same table together at the Gala Dinner which was an excellent evening of gorgeous food and great entertainment.
But it wasn’t until after the Conference ended that I was sitting in my room, drinking tea and looking out at the inclement UK-type weather that I began reflecting on the Conference and all the different aspects of it.
Then it struck me!
In talking to the couple about the different options that were available to them, I was actually failing to provide a one stop solution. Instead I was offering three possible solutions and therefore confusing the life out of them. Too many options and rapidly our brains are busily trying to work out which is best for us.
And here’s the simple truth and worth bearing in mind in all that you do in promoting your Practice:
A CONFUSED MIND NEVER BUYS!
In trying to give options to suit smaller budgets and those keen to make larger investments to grow their Practices faster, I had instead failed to be helpful. I had different prices. I had different time scales. And I had different components within each option. What I was doing was over-complicating things!
As I sat there gazing out at Auckland Harbour, I realised that there was a simple solution! Have a one stop, full and remarkable solution to creating a busy and thriving Practice! Simple!
And there another realisation struck me – for the past year or so, ALL my private Clients have chosen the Gold level anyway! I can only conclude that if they decide to work with me then they want the best option! So today, I have struck out the other two and will only be delivering the ultimate solution to sustainable Practice growth.
I decided to create the very best Osteobiz Gold package ever. So I’ve also brought in the expert skills of a no-nonsense Website Designer and SEO expert Naomi Gilmour to review and report on your website, how it ranks on Google and, most importantly, what the Patient journey is like for a visitor to your site. Naomi will provide you with a report on her findings and advice for improvements. Priceless.
Then expert Interior Designer, Heather Craig will take notes whilst you show her around your Clinic via your ipad or phone. Again she will report back with ideas and tweaks to make your space really calm and exceptionally welcoming for visiting Patients. Indeed, Heather’s Masterclass which I commissioned for my Osteobiz Blueprint course has led to many Clients revamping their Clinics and even starting from scratch to create THE most incredible healing space for visiting Patients. (So much so that recently pictures of one stunning new Practice was so stylish and beautiful that it actually brought me to tears!)
Then there’s the Osteobiz Gold Secret Vault which I’ve packed to the rafters with training classes, downloadable workbooks, cheatsheets, and much more. That’s available to you for as long as you want it.
Now this six month coaching package is absolutely the best value I’ve ever offered!
No apologies for THAT…
