What I believe about clinic growth
Healthcare clinics are not normal businesses.
They carry responsibility for patient care, professional reputation, team livelihoods and clinical outcomes. Growth that ignores this reality creates pressure, risk and burnout.

Why I created Osteobiz
My journey into clinic strategy began inside the osteopathic profession.
I have been immersed in business thinking all my life, growing up on a working farm in Shropshire where practicality, responsibility and commercial reality were part of everyday life. This shaped a natural ability to spot gaps and patterns.
And so again and again, I heard highly skilled practitioners say the same thing: “I can make people better, but I don’t know how to build a stable clinic.”
They cared deeply about their patients, yet were quietly carrying operational stress, financial uncertainty and decision fatigue. Many felt they were guessing rather than leading.
I could see the patterns they could not. The problem was not effort or intelligence. It was the absence of clear commercial structure and practical systems designed specifically for healthcare clinics.
Osteobiz was created to close that gap.

Leadership and Mindset
I am a registered osteopath with 27 years of clinical experience, including running a large multi-disciplinary practice. Alongside my clinical career she has undertaken extensive additional training in mindset, brain health and stress resilience, equipping me with a unique set of tools to support osteopaths beyond the business basics.
I initially came to Osteobiz as a client, when my own practice wasn’t where I wanted it to be. That experience, and the transformation it brought, gave me the drive and desire to support other osteopaths facing the same struggles, which is ultimately what led me to join the team.
I work with osteopaths on the blocks that quietly get in the way of building a practice they love, including self-doubt, imposter syndrome, pricing fears, team challenges, clinic overwhelm, and burnout. I help them to shift unhelpful patterns of behaviour and thinking and move forward with genuine confidence and clarity.
Sam
Tech and Systems
Hi, I’m Sam and I work alongside Gilly and the team to help you set up your online clinic systems. My job is to guide you through some of the more daunting tech tasks so your clinic can run smoothly even when you’re asleep.
I followed for Gilly for years, before I was even qualified. And after 1 year of practice I had built enough profit to reinvest it back into my business in a way that would catapult me forward. I chose Gilly. I threw myself into her programme with both feet, followed every recommendation she made to the letter and have never looked back. She taught me how to take my business from a 2 day per week practice to a 6 day practice with the need for associates in less than a year.
Gilly recognised my aptitude for the tech side of running a business and when she asked me to join her team to help others I was an enthusiastic “yes!” I’m very lucky to find tech systems easy, but this isn’t the case for everyone and I don’t believe tech should be a barrier to creating a thriving clinic.
When we work together, this is a process we take at your pace, as a team, with no tech jargon so you can feel confident your clinic systems are supporting your success.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading in my spare time and spending time with my family.
