ABOUT GILLY

A genuine advocate for the osteopathic profession

 

Gilly Woodhouse has been immersed in business all her life, having grown up on a Shropshire farm and gone on to create several successful businesses across different countries and contexts. That breadth of commercial experience shapes how she approaches every clinic she works with.

Her connection to osteopathy is deeply personal. Over many years, Gilly witnessed how cranial osteopathy helped her son Toby through a series of major health challenges, including kidney cancer, heart failure, stroke and a heart transplant. He is now healthy and living the life he wants. That experience gave Gilly a profound respect for what skilled osteopaths can achieve for their patients.

She came to clinic business support organically, initially marketing CPD courses for the Rollin Becker Institute and finding herself inadvertently coaching the delegates who were struggling to grow their practices. What started as a natural conversation became a calling.

Since then, Gilly has helped over 1,100 clinics worldwide to grow their patient lists and profits. She is a regular speaker and workshop presenter, has been published in several global publications including Osteopathy Today, and founded the #OsteopathyWorks Facebook community, now home to over 6,200 osteopaths from around the world.

How do I know which programme is right for me?

You don’t need to decide before you apply. Once you complete a short application, we’ll have a conversation about where your clinic is now, what’s creating the most strain and what you’re trying to build. We’ll recommend the most appropriate pathway based on that, not on what’s most convenient commercially.

I'm already incredibly busy. Will this add more to my plate?

The goal of this work is to remove things from your plate, not add to it. The initial phase does require your engagement and some implementation effort. But the designed outcome is a clinic that makes fewer demands on you over time, not more.

What does support look like week to week?

Every engagement begins with a deep clinic diagnostic and a bespoke Prosperity Plan. From there, support includes regular strategy sessions, implementation guidance and access between calls. The level of proximity increases with each tier, but you are never left to implement alone at any level.

Is this only for osteopaths?

The work originated in osteopathic clinics and that remains the core focus. However, the operational principles apply across allied health clinics. If you’re unsure whether your clinic type is a good fit, mention it in your application and we’ll be straightforward with you.

How quickly can I expect to see results?

Most clients notice operational and leadership shifts within the first four to six weeks. Measurable financial and operational outcomes typically compound from around week six to eight onwards as systems embed and the team begins to operate more confidently.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Each programme has a monthly payment option listed in the pricing above. If you have a specific situation you’d like to discuss, mention it in your application and we’ll find a sensible arrangement.

This work is built entirely around clinic operations, with no borrowed corporate frameworks.

Do I need a certain size of clinic to apply?

There’s no strict minimum. Engine Room Reset is typically best suited to clinics with at least one team member or associate. If you’re a solo practitioner, we’ll be honest with you in the conversation about whether the timing is right for your specific situation.

My team is resistant to change. Can you help with that?

Team resistance is one of the most common challenges in clinic development and it is fully within scope of this work. Part of what we address is the communication, leadership and culture conditions that make change feel safe for a team rather than threatening.

What happens when the programme ends?

Many clients continue in some form of ongoing support after completing their programme, or move into the next tier. You’ll never be pushed to continue. Most clinic owners find that strategic support at key growth stages is something they choose to maintain, rather than something they need to be sold.

Is there a guarantee?

There is no standard refund policy, because this is a working partnership that requires your active engagement, not a course you consume passively. What there is, is a strong track record of meaningful, measurable results and a commitment to addressing anything that isn’t working directly and promptly within the engagement.

How selective is the application process?

Private client work is intentionally limited. Gilly works with a maximum of 10 Reset clients, 5 Full Scale clients and 3 Clinic Authority clients at any one time. Applications are reviewed based on clinic readiness, willingness to implement and whether there is a genuine fit for the work. There is no hard sell involved in the conversation.
