You bet he did! Business Vision is the fundamental foundation of any commercial endeavour. Particularly as you and I are working for ourselves, our vision can be tailored exactly to what we want to achieve both professionally and personally. In a larger company the vision is a rather more global one which is decided upon by the senior team. That set of goals doesn’t necessarily fit with the wishes of the individual of course. So you will probably agree with me that being able to decide the look and the shape of your own dreams and goals is infinitely more desirable.
As we head towards each New Year, it is a great opportunity to reflect on the past year’s successes and disappointments and come up with some new goals to keep up our momentum.
There is a metaphysical law which simply states that if you hold on to a dream and keep working towards that dream without reference to your starting point: that simply believing in the object of your desire and focusing on it, will lead to that object or goal being realized on the material plane. Simply put, that just means absolute belief in yourself and your goals.
Mohammed Ali once said, “Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.”
That’s why he succeeded, because he had a goal; he focused like a laser beam on it and took inspired action. It is very difficult to stop something once it’s in forwards motion and Mohammed Ali was a perfect example of absolute belief in himself. He had bags of guts and determination and hurtled towards his victories like a runaway train.
I have regularly and consistently used these techniques and have enjoyed the successes I wanted both in business and in personal situations.
