Now that we’re well and truly into the crazy Christmas period, this week is perfect to take some strategic action and end the year on a high!
Christmasify your Social Media Covers!
Go on – when did you last update your cover image? Does it have the ubiquitous spine running across it?? Is it time to cheer up your social media pages and get festive? Did you know that your followers on Facebook will be notified that you changed it and maybe come and take a peek at it? And then maybe remember they’ve been ignoring that irritating pain – especially if you’ve got a post pinned to the top asking that very question?
(If you need help with all this, then there’s still time to join my NEW Osteobiz Whiz online programme where the current international group are learning HOW to make fantastic images and social media banners. There are so many ways to easily attract more patients both online and off without being salesy! Check it out here.)
Do you value your current Patient list?
Do you ever contact them? Do you ever check in with them? Did you know that they are your most valuable asset? If you haven’t already done this, then block out some time in the diary this week to send a brief email to your list.
Simply state that you hope they are well, list out clearly when you will be closed and end with season’s greetings. If you want to add some seasonal advice depending on where you are in the world, that would be great too. The key point is that in letting them know you will be closed over the Christmas period, you may well end up with a flurry of bookings from previous Patients who have been putting up with niggling pain.
Believe me I have been guilty of putting up with pain first thing in the morning and doing a crazy chicken dance on the way to the kettle and FORGETTING that my Osteopath could help me!! So you’re doing your Patients a favour by reminding them that you’re there and you CARE!
Promote your Christmas Gift Vouchers
Christmasify some basic vouchers, adding a space for a name, love from (or similar!) and a use by date if you wish. Promote these widely across your social media – and in your newsletter too! Remind people that it’s a wonderful gift for those who might suffer with aches and pains but who are usually very tricky to buy for!
If you specialise in a particular aspect of treatment, you might like to make Christmas vouchers for a Winter tune-up for Grandad or biomechanical assessments for the competitive athlete or whatever you like!
After all, marketing your awesome services does not have to be dull and boring! Let’s spice things up this month and Christmasify your world both online and off!
And don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back for taking the aches and pains out of your community all year and putting the smiles back in!
