Let social media do the talking!

It’s not just for kids you know!  These days it’s an important tool for driving traffic back to your website.  That in turn will generate bookings – IF your website is compelling, simple and easy to navigate!

ComputerWherever your favourite kind of patients hang out, you should be there too.  Setting up a page on most kinds of social media is very straight-forward as is uploading your picture and any logo.  Adding links to your website is important of course to ensure that you’re driving that traffic back.

On Facebook, for instance, you can even spend a useful half hour scheduling posts which will pop up at the specified time.  Just click on the clock face on the bottom left of the status box, choose your preferred date and time and click post.  You can therefore quickly schedule regular posts for the coming week or two.

Whichever media you choose, it’s important to be engaging with  your contacts on a regular basis, interacting, asking questions, posting insights, quotes and very importantly, advice and tips for keeping in great condition.  Consistency is key.

In fact, Facebook also allows you to use Facebook Ads which can be niched right down into your perfect patient.  For instance you can choose their location, age, status and gender etc so that your advert appears right in front of them.  You can specify how much you are going to spend on running the advert.  So you might choose £10 and when that runs out it stops.  The aim is to get more people liking your page and therefore building your following.  You can always resume an advert again next month to keep building your audience.
